A cadence defines how many touches a prospect receives, over what timeframe, and via which channels. A typical high-performing B2B outbound cadence might be: Day 1 email, Day 3 follow-up email, Day 5 LinkedIn request, Day 7 follow-up email, Day 10 phone call, Day 14 final email — with 5–7 total touches over 14 days.
